I was able to reproduce this today on git-master
1. Use Application Menu for the app launcher
2. Mouse over any category that has only one or two entries. On my system, I
used the Lost & Found category (I was unable to reproduce with other
categories). On my system there is only one item. The height of the background
is appropriate at this point
3. Move the pointer over a category with more items like Graphics
4. Move the pointer over the favorite icons at the left, and then into Lost &
Found / your chosen category (This doesn't always trigger the bug, I had to do
this a few times to see it again)
