I'm not able to reproduce this on git-master. Using the same method in the
attached screen recording, I created icons and renamed for
- Discover
- System Settings
- ~/Music
- A custom shortcut to an Obsidian Notes vault
Just to explore any detail that might be different, how exactly did yo create
the shortcut to System Settings (for example)?
I dragged it from the App Menu (Kicker) to the desktop, and then chose "Link
Here"
I also tried right clicking the entry in the App Menu and choosing "Add to
Desktop"
