tekKUh <kde.twentieth...@aleeas.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |kde.twentieth...@aleeas.com --- Comment #1 from tekKUh <kde.twentieth...@aleeas.com> --- Hello there, im a dumb user running Plasma 6.3 on Arch Linux. I personally loved this "bug" in Plasma 5 and I used it more as a feature to hide icons I don't think are pretty or too hard to explain, but since upgrading forwards to Plasma 6.3 using KDE's testing repository, I've noticed this bug has actually gotten worse! Here's the details of my experience: On plasma 5, I found out this bug by simply taking an icon by its topper portion, and dragging it down to the direct DIRECT bottom of the desktop, It creates a new column, and I can now scroll this desktop using my middle button, the icons work perfectly fine and this is a fun way to hide things on my desktop On plasma 6.3, I found that when repeating the same procedure from Plasma 5 onto Plasma 6.3, The desktop scrolls, the icons look fine, however ANY icon that is below where it should've been no longer responds to user input, like left clicks, right clicks, and dragging does highlight it, but doesn't enable me to interact with this icon at all anymore, rendering the file unusable unless I go into the dolphin explorer, move it from and back, and it appears where it "should" be at the top of my desktop. I personally really loved this bug from Plasma 5, so as a wish-list from me, I would love to see this "bug" become more and more polished into a very unique feature. As I had this "bug" posted at https://lemmy.kde.social/post/2535476 [this link contains videos of the bug on plasma 5 and plasma 6.3], and it got very positive responses, being looked at as an amazing thing rather than a bug, thanks for your understatement and reading ~ Some random guy on the internet -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
