Not a Kwin dev, but this seems like the wrong approach to me. At best this is
only a temporary solution at the worst this just hides the real problem.
Not every Distro still ships X11. Notably the atomic distros don't ship x11 (I
believe). It is also unknown for how long other distros will ship X11. So this
solution will only work for some people who knows for how long?
