Video Steps showing the issue.

SUMMARY
Using the desktop edit mode if you right click on a widget like the binary
clock(or other time showing widgets) you are given the option for alternatives.
Using the alternatives creates unique broken scenarios based on what the
original widget was. This occasionally leaves the desktop in a state where it
requires a logout to fix.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right click desktop
2. Select "Enter Edit Mode"
3. In the top left click "Add or Manage Widgets..."
4. Select Analog Clock from the Widgets panel that opened on the left and place
on desktop
5. Right click the newly placed widget and in the context menu select "Show
Alternatives..."
6. In the opened menu select Binary Clock (Note the Analog Clock Widget has
gone invisible but still exists)
7. Repeat Step 5 on the Binary Clock.
8. In the opened menu select Digital Clock (Note the Binary Clock has only a
gray back ground and is non functional)

OBSERVED RESULT
Prior placed Widgets become nonfunctional or invisible.

EXPECTED RESULT
The prior placed widget is completely removed.
OR
The prior placed widget does not become invisible/nonfunctional.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It seems I have ran into another bug at the end of the video after placing the
calendar widget . Where the right click context menu says "Enter Edit Mode" but
in reality it exits the edit mode. I will create another report for it if I can
find a way to repeat it.
