Nvidia is up and running. LSPCI reports:

But nvidia-settings reports error (despite running nvidia-xconfig and
restarting):
You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X
configuration file (just run `nvidia-xconfig` as root), and restart the X
server.
Anyway, Kdenlive also did not work with Nouveau.
The other applications work perfectly, including smplayer and VLC.
