Bug ID: 498123 Summary: Opening a new tab does not respect setting "After current tab" Classification: Applications Product: dolphin Version: 24.12.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: marco_silv...@sapo.pt CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In dolphin there is a setting in Interface->Folders & Tabs for "opening new tabs": a) "After current tab" b) "At the end of tab" OBSERVED RESULT However it always does b) and opens a tab after all others, even when I choose the first option. EXPECTED RESULT Lets say in dolphin I have already 5 tabs, if I have the first tab focused and I create a new tab (via menu or with Ctrl+T), it should open between the 1st-2nd tab, not be placed at the end as the 6th tab (respecting the setting a) that I previously chose). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In dolphin settings, Interface->Folders & Tabs for "opening new tabs" choose "After current tab" 2. Open 3 tabs. 3. Go to first tab and do ctrl+T to create another tab 4. Check that new tab got placed at the end (incorrectly, ignoring the setting) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Archlinux updated, 6.2.4 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
