Which firefox version? Which exact desktop and desktop version are you running?
Could you please attach a screenshot of the problem to this report?
FWIW: I can't see this here, using Amarok 2.8.90 (aka 2.9 beta) on KDE 4.14.2,
Kubuntu 14.10.
