The house financing products are important part of Islamic finance. The purpose of this study is to examine the practice of existing house financing model which is commonly practiced in Islamic financial institutions for financing renovation of house. This study does not cover all aspects of Islamic house financing rather it focuses on the renovation case of in Islamic House financing in different financial institutions e.g. Islamic and conventional. This study will also discuss whether the current practice of Islamic house financing is suitable for client and bank or not? If not then which product is suitable for renovation in Islamic house financing.
