The details of how you do this can depend on the operating system, but there are some notes in a wiki page that might be useful: https://github.com/jupyterhub/jupyterhub/wiki/Run-jupyterhub-as-a-system-service Services can be configured to start automatically when the system boots, and to restart automatically if they crash.
