You can use Ubuntu as is and setup server services. I would recommend either 
having your group execute notebooks that they save to a network share using the 
Jupiter clip on the machine or setup juoyterhub with an unit wrapper that loads 
you config when launched

Hello all,
I have One GPU system within m lab which needs to be shared among multiple 
users to run their deep learning models, how to set it up , so that multiple 
users access ti from their own system by running instance of jupyter notebook
i have no option to make GPU system as server as ubuntu18.04 server doesnt 
support GPU card i have ehich is p4000.
Step by step help will be appreciated
