Hi,

is that a long standing issue or did you just notice that by accident? just for
conpleteness which jdk are you using?

Not the first time with the edit toolbox now but I am not sure if it has been
happening for years, or just months. Another issue that has been there for
years, also happening when OJ has been open for days, or weeks, is that some of
the tool icons disappear from the main window and from the attribute window.
The buttons are not rendered, or appear behind a black color if I remember
right. The buttons are there and they can be used, but they are hard to find if
you do not see them.

sounds like some memory running full. at least for the icons there is little we
can do unless it's a memory leak somewhere to fix.

Java Version: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 11.0.25 (amd64)
OS: Windows 10 (10.0)
OpenJUMP-20240930-r5288[d407cdc]-PLUS

The issue is hard to reproduce. Simple sleep/hibernate does not trigger it. I
leave OJ open now, maybe the UI breaks within couple of days.

doing the same with a current jdk21 on a virtual win10 box that i can leave
running for the duration. changed

rem -- uncomment to use 'java' and enable debug console output, if unset
defaults to 'javaw' for background jre --
set JAVA_BIN=java

rem -- set some default OJ options here (eg. '-v debug'), initialize empty --
rem -- run OJ with '--help' argument to find out which are available --
set "JUMP_OPTS=-v debug"

in oj_windows.bat . might show some more. we'll see. ..ede
