Hey Jukka,
I don't think we have such a tool. It would not be too difficult to add
though.
Would you like to add a Feature Request for that ?

OK, we have a Sextante tool “points to line”, though without option to
sort by attribute.

*Aihe:* [JPP-Devel] Do we have a tool "create a linestring from
ordered set of points"?
Hi,
I can do what I want in PostGIS with
https://postgis.net/docs/ST_MakeLine.html
<https://postgis.net/docs/ST_MakeLine.html> but that is an extra step
for my purpose that is to check if points are ordered correctly and if
there are outliers. Natural order by feature ID would be enough for my
immediate use case but a more universal tool could offer an option to
sort point set by a selected attribute, that quite often is something
related to time.
