Hi all, In the last months I had a collaboration with the University of Padua for a course of hydrology where OpenJUMP is used as software together with OpenKLEM toolset. This collaboration helps me to recognize a series of bugs and limits, both in OJ and OpenKLEM, both on raster and vector tools which were almost all corrected before the OpenJUMP 1.14.1 real. In the same time I had to idea to upgrade and restyle the few embedded raster tools in OpenJUMP. The goal was to facilitate the students of the course and any user who need to do some basics but fundamental raster analysis/operations - OpenJUMP is mainly a vector GIS. I will briefly resume them: a) Raster Histogram and Profile, the user can choose the color of the output . b) Histogram: possibility to choose the upper/lower values of the raster data. Output raster as line, like in QGIS c) all the tools which previusly were catalogated under "Manage nodata" menu, now are loacted into a unique plugin with many option (extract by nodata value, mask by nodata, etc). The original plugin were developed (by me) in order to solve some boring problems connected to Sextante raster output (*). Eventually a couple of years ago I was able to solve the output problems within Sextante itself:. So I grouped them in a unique plugin. d) a Kernel Analysis plugin on both image or mono band raster layers (via Sextante Raster). e) a Crop/Warp plugin. Grouped together as they share almost 80% of the source code. In support of Crop raster by Fence/Warp raster by fance located on Layer menu. The new plugin allows to use othe objects ad cutting/warping objects ( the envelope of any layer, of a set of geometries, of the view) f) a couple of plugins that allows to convert a raster layer either to a vector polygon layer (with 2 different methods) or to a linestring vector layer where linestrings conresponds to elevation contours. I hope I will have some time to upgrade the wiki page with more informations. Best regards Giuseppe
