Hi,

How can I know that installation was successful and GDAL is available?

Jukka & all,

can you please test if the new Imageio-Ext & GDAL 2.1.0 work to your
satisfaction? i opened ECW & JP2 and it worked for me.

you'll need OJ r5052+
https://sourceforge.net/projects/jump-pilot/files/OpenJUMP_snapshots/
&
https://sourceforge.net/projects/jump-pilot/files/OpenJUMP_plugins/Drivers/GDAL-win-x86x64-2.1.0stable-20160516.zip

on a sidenote.. as ECW works now for x64 w/ GDAL as well we should probably
retire the older native ecw reader. objections?

any idea on how to promote the usage of GDAL w/ OJ? i am under the impression
the feature is rarely used, because the user do not know that they need to
download/install the GDAL zip.
maybe we should start a MEGA distribution or add it to PLUS, which would double
the download size to ca. 110MB.

thx ..ede
