Hi, The extract segments tool makes good work with exploding polygons into segments but for further processing it would be nice to have some attributes in the segments:
- ID of the source feature - Ordered numbers of segments With that information it would be possible to analyze for example the angle between adjacent segments and also to go to reversed direction and construct a polygon from the right segments. For multipolygons and holes more attributes would be needed: - Number of the multipolygon part - If segment comes from outer ring or from a hole - Number of hole I have no real use case in my mind for the feature but it might help sometimes with fixing the topology of a polygon layers if segments could be compered one by one. -Jukka Rahkonen-
