too much hazzle, why consider git if svn does the job just fine.. the github

sf.net states we could setup our own on their webspace.
so
we'd either stay there, just differently or i move us over to some other 
mediawiki blog service. anywhichway we'll stay on mediawiki, which is my goal.

;).. no option for our wiki i guess, because nobody there to port it properly. 
also i'd rather like to stay on some well supported CMS than port to some weird 
special CMS that nobody else uses.
