Hi,
What is your request in the query dialog box ?
Seems that it is just : "query $view"
It should be something like
SELECT * FROM yourTable
to select all the data in your table
or, if you want to select features in the view only
SELECT * FROM yourTable WHERE geometryColumnOfYourTable && ${view:0}
where 0 after view has to be changed to the srid used in your table (ex.
${view:4326})

Which plugin did you install? Most PostGIS capabilities are included
in CORE and PLUS version of OpenJUMP without need to add external
plugins.
To read a PostGIS table from OpenJUMP, you need to choose
- File > Open... (choose "Data Store Layer")
or
- File > Run DataStore Query...
