Hi,
I just come back from vacation and I've not tested all modifications
made on ViewAttribute and InfoPanel but here are some remarks :
New buttons :
*Save datasets* : I see no particular reason to have this button here as
it will save "any" modification, not just attribute modifications and
not just modifications made on active AttributePanel
*Undo/redo* : same remark. Moreover, currently, if you delete features
from the AttributePanel then click undo, features will be restored in
the LayerViewPanel but not in AttributePanel.
*View/Edit schema* : very useful for ViewAttribute plugin, not working
(NPE) for InfoPanel if several layers are displayed (should not be
available for InfoPanel IMHO)
*Zoom to full extent* : I think the one in main toolbar is enough and it
is always visible.
*Statistics *: very good idea for ViewAttribute plugin, not working
(NPE) for InfoPanel if several layers are displayed (should not be
available for InfoPanel IMHO)
*Throws NPE* as soon as features from several layers are selected with
the info tool.
InfoFrame : panels on top instead of vertically centered is fine
InfoFrame : the vertical colored band on the left of the panel seems
only visible for layers having a source like a file. Is it an intended
change ?
I did not test persistence of column width yet.
Feature Info Tool can select only features on the selected layers : not
sure I would like to have this behaviour. One can already make layers
selectable or unselectable. It seems to me that adding a rule (selected
and selectable layers) as the default behaviour would be a bit confusing.
Just my 2 cents, open to discussion about all the points of course. Most
important being to fix bugs.

Hi Matthias,
thanks for this information. When I changed the position of Attribute
Tab, I added the Layer Statistics plugin as a test.
Probabily, when two o more layer tables are opened, Layer Statistics
plugin tries to read on all and get a NullPointerException error.
I will try to solve this problem, meanwhile I am going to remove it
("hide" on attribute tab plugin) and check other solutions.
I am out of my house and I don't have any computer/internet/Eclipse,
so I think I will commit this change after 30th dec.
I see also you did some changes on this way. Expecially on the space
between two o more features (from different layers) on feature info
tool. Thanks.
Giuseppe

*Oggetto:* [JPP-Devel] Feature Info Tool and Layer Attributes Statistics
Hi Giuseppe,
your past changes on the AttributeTab have a problem. If you select
fetures on more than one layers with the Feature Info Tool an press the
Layer Attributes Statistics Button, you get an NullPointerException in
the StatisticOverViewPlugIn.execute() method because layer is null :-(
