You are probably correct. I didn't realize Michael had looked at the
bug. I simply looked to see if the check box was working after the
last JRE update for Microsoft Windows.

Java is working fine. When I edit the batch file and hard code the
path to the JRE, OpenJUMP starts with no problems.

Could be a problem unique to my computer, but I thought I would post
it to the mailing list in case other people were having problems.
