Hi,

Sorry to have been so silent for a while.

I think removing addImageLayer and executeSQLQuery from Layer Menu has been discussed with Peppe a while ago. In Jufre, Peppe has completely removed Layer menu, but I'm not sure I'm ready to go so far.

I did Mohammed's change on my machine (move addImageLayer from Layer to File menu) and a similar change for executeSQLQuery.
I will commit tomorrow if nobody has objection.
I put both plugin in File menu as they are about importing data source (Peppe did move executeSQLQuery to view menu).

I dont know about from big fonts issue. i just copied subject line from gmail that is

sorry for misunderstanding

Lets wait for Michael to react on that because he is the lead
    maintainer nowadays.

Inbetween you might want to explain what it does, because only see
that the AddImageLayerPlugIn instantiation is moved from
OpenJumpConfiguration to JUMPConfiguration. I don't see

    Layer > Execute SQL query
    and
Layer > Add an image layer

but also do not remember that this was a topic on the list and
users had the chance to voice their opinion.
