Hi Mohammed,
To toggle visibility of a Sextante Raster Layer, you have to right click
on the layer and change its visibility from the context menu.
I don't know why it has been done like this. May be to make them
different from old Raster Layers.
If someone else know, it would be interesting to discuss this choice.
My opinion is that it would be better to have a common way to toggle
visibility for all layers including Sextante Raster Layers.
About getting cell values, I think a useful plugin would be to display
cell values of the topmost visible raster layer in the leftmost part of
the status bar when the info button is on.
What other users think ?
