Rashad,

Let me see if I can answer some of your questions.

You wrote: " How to run openjump from eclipse.I downloaded the source
and followed the instruction on wiki but i can run it."

We need you to be more specific if we are going to help you. What is
happening when you try to run OpenJUMP from Eclipse. Can you give us
some more information?

You wrote: "How to do OpenJump Localization work."

We need you to clarify. When you say this do you mean help translate
OpenJUMP's GUI into other languages? What language(s) are you
interested in. Once we know that we can hook you up with our existing
programmers or users that are already working on or maintaining
translations in those languages.

Have you checked out the old JUMP Developer Guide? That is probably
the best place to start reading. It can be downloaded in PDF form
here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/surveyos/files/

Download the JUMP PDF Docs zip file from that web page.

The best place to start programming with OpenJUMP is by developing
simple plug-ins or working to squish bugs. Let us know what you are
interested in and we can provide some direction. If you want to start
with some bugs, I have a couple I can help you work on.

You wrote: "Also Add a FAQ page with questions like these it will be
good for other newbies."

If you want to write up a FAQ I can get it added to the wiki. We could
also add it to the JPP web site if Stefan doesn't have a problem with
it.

Welcome to OpenJUMP.
