My last test's i've done with the standalone geoserver (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/geoserver/geoserver-2.0.2-bin.zip) and the included datasets. But why do not have other WMS clients problems? With QGIS 1.3.0 and an other propritary solution I've no problems with Geoserver 2.0.2.
