Good point, Larry.  SQLite is exactly analogous to (say) PostGIS, so 
it's implementation technology is not really a concern.

Still nice to have a pure Java driver, though, to avoid the problem of 
platform dependencies.

And I can imagine OJ shipping with an embedded H2 option at some point, 
to seamlessly support huge datasets.
