While I'm subscribed to the H2 developer's mailing list and have read all the archives regarding any spatial discussions, I haven't been active as a poster yet because I have yet to really start modifying H2 itself. I have instead been porting the previously written spatial code to the newest H2 codebase. I will introduce myself there shortly and begin getting pointers regarding how best to hook in and index into H2.
