Hi Everyone,
My name is Cameron Alston and I will be working on the OpenJUMP project this
summer, specifically in implementing a stand-alone map labelling system. I'm
currently finishing up at UC Davis and I'll be attending UC Santa Cruz in the
fall for graduate school. I met up with Landon (Sunburmed Surveyor) back in
March and was originally supposed to work as part of the Google Summer of Code.
That didn't work out but I am still going to work to gain a bit of experience
as to what it is like to work on an open source project. Anyway, I just wanted
to introduce myself and I look forward to being a part of the project this
summer.
