Hi Stefan, as Jukka said it is on the editing toolbox. I think it is better to leave it and not to delate. Even if it has some problems. Right now the only one I found it is moving the notetool layer to another category. If you copy back it to the original category oyu can't see the notes again. I image this tool would be important (or a similar one) for a mobile Openjump. It is quite useful for fast annotation in field, too.
