I've added some notes on my proposed changes of TaskFrame creation to the OpenJUMP wiki:
http://openjump.org/wiki/show/Notes+on+TaskFrames I'll have the changes to the system for creating TaskFrames and listening to TaskFrame events completed soon. This will include several small improvements to the way errors/exceptions are handled, better organization of the class members in the TaskFrame class, improved Javadoc comments for the TaskFrame class, and the ability to add support for custom TaskFrames via a plug-in. I should have a build of OpenJUMP with these modifications ready to test by the end of next week? If everything goes smoothly I'd like to add these improvements to our next official release. I'll provide documentation on how to add a custom TaskFrame/listen to TaskFrame events for all programmers to review.
