Hei Michael and Uwe (who asked the same question) My personal oppinion (and expericene) is, that we can not live without the wiki due to its ease of use and the low entry barrier for editing.
So my current preference is to have the "nice" looking webpage as entry point that basically links to detailed information on the several wiki pages. Hence, maintenance efforts are kept low from my side and I am not focussing on converting the wiki to html. Of course if we get a full-time webpage maintainer things can become different. But for this case I would actually opt for a re-setup of the old Content Management System, e.g. Xoops (some may remember that we "lost it" when Sourceforge updated the database version). I also want to note, that I don't feel that Peppe should get/take such an additional work load as his documentation efforts are more important - from my perspective. so far my 2cents Stefan Michael Michaud schrieb: > > Great work Stefan, > > It looks nice. > I like the general design of the page which offers a clear structure > Do you see this html structure as a simple entry point to access wiki > documentation or do you think wiki should migrate to html ? > > I can see pros and cons for both tools, but I'd like to know what peppe > and other active documentation writers think first. > > Michaël > > Stefan Steiniger a écrit : >> >> Hi all, >> >> I found on Friday a quite nice webpage with free css-templates.
