Hi Larry, you are right. My proposal was to move these two tools to the editing toolbox even they are not "cursor tools". The basic idea is not only to simplify the tool menu . But also to get together on Editing toolbox all the tools and cursor tools which are used for basic editing. For instance, regarding merge 2 polygon, the user, after edited two polygon, would click on a "merge 2 polygon" icon instead to search on tool menu the conresponding tool.
