I posted a short update on my I18N work on the OpenJUMP Blog. I'm very excited about how this code I'm now testing may improve internationalization efforts in OpenJUMP!
http://openjump.blogspot.com/ I've probably got one or two weeks left to accomplish the testing of the translation text files. Then I'll use the code in my next Super Select Tool release, which should fully support translation into languages other than English. I also started work on the plug-in dependency system for OpenJUMP using a snapshot of the latest SVN. Now that I've taken my PLS exam I hope to have some time for this in the mornings before work. I think I can also have this system running in one to two weeks. This means the next release of the Super Select Tool will include all of the following improvements: - Demonstration Of GUI Plug-In Installer For OpenJUMP - Demonstration Of Enhanced I18N System - Demonstration Of Plug-In Dependency System The Sunburned Surveyor ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event. There's still time to save $100.
