The deadline for student applications is today. If Nacho can serve as
your "unofficial mentor" then I will support the project and will
serve as your "official mentor". I can help you and Nacho with
questions about OpenJUMP's API and with suggestions on implementation.

If you want to participate we need to get your student application in
TODAY! You will be applying as a student under the OSGeo umbrella. The
OSGeo is the organization with which I am serving as a mentor.

Get back to me with any questions. I'll check my e-mail again at 4
o'clock Pacific time.
