Uwe, Sorry about it not working with the database drivers. We will add it back in so until we can rectify the problem.
The new Wizard was added as I and some of my users found it confusing that you had a non-standard drop down to select the type of thing you wanted to load and then also had the file filter based drop down. Also the current dialog did not work at all well where you were selecting multiple files, where there were options to select for those files, or multiple files in a zip archive. I designed the new wizard to be easy to use in all these cases. Unfortunately I didn't realize that database plug-ins were also using it. I have suggested we have both in the menu until I can make another new wizard to work with both files and databases.
