In the Change Styles dialog the maximum size allowed for symbols is 20 (pixels), so if you set a larger size in the plugin it will be reset by the Change Styles dialog (if it is subsequently opened). It might be a simple matter of not enforcing the 20 limit when this Dialog is Accepted/Closed. It is possible for the user to enter a value in the size field (rather than using the slider), but it is reset to 20 on close.
