Hei Michael, i try to keep the number of menus small, but your suggestion sounds good to me! I even would like to move then the "opions..." from edit to this new menu.
with respect to double existing classes: - i am not sure why the jump.properties file exists two times (i thought to avoid errors?) - the SRID stuff is two times there since it is need from "de.haw..." package by the postgis plugin from Uwe (and may be by some others as well). I added/copied it to "org.openjump" to use it for functions in openjump, not directly concerned with postgis. so what concerns me.. go ahead and commit! btw.: i think i will add SaveDatasetAs... to the layerpopupmenu again (and may disable the simple SaveAs dialog) since it needed if one wants to store in other dataformats such as databases. thanx for your work, stefan Michaël Michaud schrieb: > Hi all, > > I integrated Larry's BeanTools PlugIn in OJ and made some other changes > I had to move some menu items, and as it is a very visible thing and > personal choice, I'd like some feedback before committing. > > Most visible change is the addition of a "customize" menu including > - the plugin manager > - the beanshell console > - the beantools plugin > > Less visible changes are > - addition of a modified version of larry's plugin > (I added the capability to manage a script hierarchy and some > script samples to help learning jump scripting) > - modification of the I18N to stop crashing when a resource > is missing (more explanation in the readme inside the zip) > > adress of the patched version to test is : > http://michael.michaud.free.fr/jump/alpha/ressources/openjump-20050728-mm.zip > > other considerations about OJ design and road map : > - menus are quite difficult to manage.
