Hi all,

I'm agree with Larry. I'm also paranoiac (Google is very hungry) .I think
that sourceforge is very well.
However if you want system more "user friendly" look at Trac Plateform
http://trac.edgewall.org/.

We use it now with projet-sigle and at my work (
http://geosysin.iict.ch/irstv-trac/).

If you have any problems I think we can help you and hosting U.

Feel free.

We are open :-) and openjump supporters .

R1.

Hi Jon,

The main attraction of Google Code to me is the clean and responsive
interface. However, when you compare the features, Google has a long
way to go to catch up with SourceForge, especially the web code
browser, which currently lacks syntax highlighting. That makes it
much more difficult to go browsing for suitable code - not that I
found much of interest there anyway. There are very few mature
projects to be found in Google Code - not really surprising, I
suppose, since they just started.

Now I'm normally one of Google's biggest fans, but I've done some
soul searching and found that I'm not totally comfortable with hosting
an open source project on Google. I can imagine a
Google-dominated-web (in not too distant future) where some new CEO
asks why they are hosting potential competitor's open source projects.
Perhaps I'm being paranoid, but I think Google needs a little
competition to keep them on their toes.

regards,
Larry Becker
