When Geoffrey posted here, I dropped a note that we are available
on this list for discussion.
However, it seems he focussed on multi-sheet printing and a more
simple and fast solution. The PrintLayout Plugin tries to prepare a broad
and solid base so that are flexible to add virtually any type of layout
functionality
you want. This aim is also the reason why you don't see much yet
in the GUI - most work was underground so far.
Honestly, I think the code bases can not be joined since the approaches
differ too much.
