Thanks for the input Stefan. I agree on the numbering scheme. I have
no problem using 1.1 or 1.2 for our next version number.

 It looks like a release for the first part of January might be
premature. I can still work on the bugs in December, but maybe we need
to put a freeze on new features through the end of January so we have
time to resolve some of these other things?

I don't think we want to end up as a project that never gets an
official release out, so maybe it is time to do some house cleaning?

I don't have my heart set on this, but I am willing to put some work
into it if others think it is time for a release.

P.S. - I have no problem putting together some brief documentation on
the new features in an official release.
