I've got some more notes on my home computer. When I have time I'll try to combine these with the notes on the Wiki to come up with a more comprehensive and (almost) complete look at OpenJUMP's rendering code. This code was really the only thing left in OpenJUMP that I was really afraid of, and I'm pleased to obtain at least a basic understanding of how it works.
