Dear members of the OpenJump community,

after being a member of the PIROL project at the FH Osnabrueck for 2
years and in the same time (almost) completing my second degree (an MBA
- all this evil business stuff!) it is time for me to move on to the
next step of my professional life and retire from PIROL: From next
tuesday on I will on longer be part of PIROL.

My new job is not related to geo data processing, but I might have the
opportunity to work in this field, again (maybe even with OJ) - it would
be a project with a low priority, though.

I intend to keep in touch with the OJ community and maybe do some of the
plugins I planned for PIROL, privately.

In the next two or three month, there will be a bunch of things that
will keep me from being an active member, though: I have to move to a
new city, have to write my master thesis and need to get to know my new
job. So, I guess I'll be off for a while.

The PIROL project has an other two years to go and it appears to be on
it's way to be a very successfull research project in the end.
My friend and colleague Michael BrĂ¼ning has agreed to take over my part
in PIROL and I'm sure he'll rapidly become a valueable member of the
community.

Even though I'll be back, I'd like to thank Uwe, Stefan, Jon, Steve and
Landon for their support and good collaboration, so far!
It was fun, working with you guys!

Take care!

Ole
