I was giving some thought to reforming the Development Committee for
the JUMP Pilot Project. I think some of the former members have moved
on, and we may have some new people involved in the project that might
fill those missing seats.

I'd like to have someone from each of the major JUMP players on the
committee. (Deegree, SIGLE, and PIROL) I think we might be able to
start tackling some common issues, like map projections and raster
support.

I'd really love to see some of these different JUMP projects combine
there efforts. We'd all benefit from a unified platform and quicker
development of popular plug-ins.

Let me know if you'd like to be a part of a reformed development
committee, or if you have some issues you'd like to have the committee
tackle.

If there is no real interest in this, I'll just let sleeping dogs lie.
But I think I need to start doing a better job of coordination between
the projects.
