I have been having the exact same issue pop up, 3 or 4 times now. You can 
workaround it by pasting that exact git clone command from the error into 
your own terminal session, and it usually succeeds when run manually. Now 
if you re-try the Julia Pkg.whatever(), it will continue with the one that 
you cloned manually.
