I wanted to make sure folks saw the latest Juju Show [1] as we had Marco doing a live upgrade of a Kubernetes cluster to 1.10 which was very cool. It was great to see how smooth it is to keep your cluster up to date with the smarts in the charms.
I also wanted to call out some really cool blog posts that Stuart's done around operating Postgres in production. I had missed these and figured I'd spread the word. He's got a few great posts on point in time backup and recovery using the built in actions of the charm. [2] There's also a great one about leveraging Juju storage to be able to redeploy Postgres and pick back up those persistent disks to restore the data [3], and one on the cross model relation support. [4] Make sure to check out those posts and give them a try if you're using Postgres anywhere. It's great to see more advanced operations being brought into the charms and I think it's a great model for other folks that might be looking for the next steps of their own charms beyond deploy and configuration.
