Hi Tom, Sorry to hear you're having trouble.. I think there might be something interesting in the controller logs that could help us fix it.
If you can ssh into the controller machine, could you tar up the logs in /var/log/juju and attach to a Launchpad bug ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/juju/+filebug)?
