The snap story for offline or limited-network deployments needs to be
worked out. In particular, there are no methods for a local cache or
mirror of snaps. You can use an undocumented method for getting most
of snapd using a web proxy, but it is still talking to the live snap
store. ubuntu-core updates are the big issue, as even if you delivered
mongodb snaps through some alternative means, you still need some way
of getting ubuntu-core updates or you lose security updates inside the
snap containment.
