Indeed the message is sent with $.post(...) however it looks like the following code is not called:
jQuery.ajaxSetup({ 'beforeSend': function(xhr) {xhr.setRequestHeader("Accept", "text/ javascript")} }); and the server side code does not handle the request properly. Thanks!
