I found and fixed that issue, thanks for bringing it to my attention. It also inspired me to add another option that's been on my backburner for a while ;-)
I've added an includeOther: true/false option that, if true, will cause a [...] menu item to appear at the end of the nav bar, where things like ", something" (items starting with punctuation) and Äpfel (chars other than A-Z and 0-9) will appear.
