I tried to expound the source code and than some things refer of a kind of an array for me which is existing globally: (index(), inArray ()..) The resason why I started to browse the code because the followings deceived me: > This does NOT remove them from the jQuery object, allowing you to > use the matched elements further. If that had been there in documentation: "from the RETURNED jQuery object" , I wouldn't have put my stupid question :) Thank's a lot for your help!
