Imagine a table with ten columns. Is there a JavaScript function that will let visitors render particular columns invisible? For example, I have a table that uses a jQuery function to create sortable columns. However, it takes forever because the table is so big. But if visitors could make some of the less important columns disappear, then it might sort faster.
